AlgaEnergy adds one more success to its long list of public recognitions. The awards delivery act took place on the 4th of December in Madrid, at the Queen Sofia Arts Museum. The ceremony was chaired by the King of Spain, H.E. Felipe VI, and the awards were handed by the President of the Spanish Government, Mr. Mariano Rajoy.
By organizing these prestigious awards, CEPYME, recognized as the most representative business organization in Spain, aims to reward projects that have generated value in the market through technological innovation, either by the improvement of the products or services that are offered, or by achieving greater capitalization as a result of the technological innovations developed.
Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s General Manager, highlighted the importance of this nomination and notes that “this recognition is an honour and an additional motivation, as it shows institutional support for AlgaEnergy, providing visibility to a 10 years old endeavour whose mission is to contribute to the economic and social progress as well as to the creation of employment“. “The existence of awards like the ones organized CEPYME, which encourage the promotion of innovation in different sectors, is relevant in a country such as Spain, with so much potential”, adds Rodríguez-Villa.
