AlgaEnergy, together with the University of Santiago and APROMAR, participates in the project “Aquaculture and Climate Change”

This initiative will seek to lay the groundwork about interactions between the aquaculture and climate change with different actions. In a first phase, it will explore how aquaculture can mitigate the effects of climate change from the role of the shells of bivalve molluscs and algae in the uptake of CO2.
