AlgaEnergy has actively participated in the “US Biostimulants Summit 2018”, which was organized by the editorial group ACI International and took place on the 27th and the 28th of June in Chicago (USA).
The conference brought together the leading executives and experts from across the entire value chain (producers of biostimulant and plant nutrient products, research institutes & government representatives, amongst others) and took an in-depth outlook into trends & innovation, as well as regulatory affairs and new technological developments.
AlgaEnergy’s participation included a presentation held by Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, the company’s General Manager. In his presentation titled “Usage of microalgae to develop next generation biostimulants”, Rodríguez-Villa highlighted the properties that make microalgae probably the best raw material to develop innovative, sustainable and highly efficient plant biostimulants, such as the ones comprising by its range of microalgae derived biostimulants, AgriAglae®. The advantages its usage derives, in particular increasing crops’ yields, optimizing qualitative traits of fruits and vegetables and reinforcing resistance against abiotic stress, translate into a greater profitability for the farmer.
